Blog: GeeVees - The Gaudiya Archive

As many of you will have noticed, I came to write quite a bit on Gaudiya Vaishnavism during the last five years of my active practice. These writings are now scattered all across the internet, some on sites that have gone defunct. While I may no longer share an adherent's interest in the tradition, I see no reason why valuable content shouldn't be available to the interested.

GeeVees was founded to archive the varieties of informative content I wrote during my active Gaudiya Vaishnava years, gradually filling up as a resource for students of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. Over time, I am going over all my old writings and posting, sometimes remodeled, them into the archive. I'm certain the tag feature will prove to be a useful tool for more systematic studies. Browse the growing archives at GeeVees!

Well, this is one case where the blooped non-devotee probably knows more about the cult teachings than most of the "practicing devotees".

I for one feel that the movement lost a bright soul when you blooped.

Anyone that looks around the movement can see that there is quite a mess left in the wake of the ISKCON acharya.

I was hoping you might be the next installment of something better than the cult mess ISKCON has turned out to be.

I think the world does need an alternative to ISKCON and even the Saraswata branch.

I thought you might be the budding acharya of a new improved version of western devotee.

You still might be.
In fact, I think that someday you will in fact be a Gaudiya teacher in demand in this world of siddhanta gone wild.

Looks like a lot of valuable material.
You obviously didn't have in mind aging older men who need reading glasses when you chose your font size and color.
Green is one of my favorite colors for web pages, but I have to get the old reading glasses out and get close to my LCD monitor to read the small type font.
Otherwise, it's all something I will study quite closely.

I spend many hours a week studying the books I have.
I do like the books of Prabhupada, but I have to admit that a lot of it is unintelligible to me.

I keep telling myself that someday I will understand the things that I know cannot now grasp.

Yea, we've had a couple of Finnish brahmacaris camping at our backyard for the better part of a week now, poorly disguised as rabbits, trying to sneak peek in the windows for information that could be used to tarnish or incriminate me. Poor saps, we've been giving them carrots in the morning. They burrow back into their holes when the snow comes again.

Vegman, use the zoom. CTRL plus or CTRL mouse roll will scale it up for you.

Ananda, would you consider it possible that one day you return to GV? If so, which branch would you join? Or you'd rather be some self made guru like the "Peter" dude who wrote some book about "raganuga revolution", I forgot his GV name.

His name is Pitambar.

I imagine that Anandaji will be starting a river excursion guide service where he takes those who pay the fee on a white water rafting adventure down the Viraja River.
