The Broad Way That Claims No Authority

The Tao is broad; you can move far to the right and to the left; and still remain within it. Millions of living beings live on it, depend upon it for their existence; it accepts them willingly, and claims no authority over them.

The Tao accomplishes its tasks, and claims no credit. It clothes and feeds the living beings who live on it; yet it imposes no obligations on them, and expects no gratitude from them.

The Tao desires nothing, so it may be called small. Yet since it claims no credit, imposes no obligations, and expects no gratitude, it should be called great.

I could easily debunk this Tao as being a hazy, abstract conception of the Paramata, but I am tired of giving away super-knowledge without remuneration.
If you want to know the answer, you will have to send me a check or money order.

It could also be a distorted perception of a pink Winnie the Pooh standing on his head to see the sun upside down. Or maybe Paramatma is a mistaken perception of Winnie the Pooh, who is the source of Tao. Dang those imperfect senses!

I however declare this wisdom of Winnie the Pooh to be free and in the public domain, so you can share with anyone without having to worry over paying royalties to me.

I like Vegman's "Paramata." Typos can be so fun.

Kshamabuddhi said...

Did you know that a brain fart is an involutary release of ignorance?

Satya devi dasi said...

"involutary" from involute, meaning intricate?

Kshamabuddhi said...

I am going to have to fire my editor. Two consecutive errors is just not acceptible.

"A BRAIN FART IS THE INVOLUNTARY RELEASE OF STUPIDITY".

It is caused by the inability to digest certain information.

Mr. Ananda ∴ μ α ω λ said...

And I suppose your editor derives acceptible from accepty. He seems to be suffering from involuntary releases, just the sort you've been talking about.

Kshamabuddhi said...

Well, Mr. Ananda, since I pride myself as a comedian and not a scholar, I feel no shame or remorse in your pointing out my earrors.
I hope this is exceptible to you.

Kshamabuddhi said...

by the way Mr. Ananda, a BRAINFART and typo are not the same thing.
Here is an example of a BRAINFART:

"It could also be a distorted perception of a pink Winnie the Pooh standing on his head to see the sun upside down. Or maybe Paramatma is a mistaken perception of Winnie the Pooh, who is the source of Tao. Dang those imperfect senses!

I however declare this wisdom of Winnie the Pooh to be free and in the public domain, so you can share with anyone without having to worry over paying royalties to me."

This is a world class, award-winning BRAINFART of the most odoriferous kind.

Are you experiencing a braingasm over a new word? At least try to decide if you write it separately (brain fart) or together (brainfart).

Yes, typos and brainfarts are of course different; a brainfart can happen to anyone, while repeated typos speak of a more chronic condition called "fartbrain".

Kshamabuddhi said...

I am no newcomer to BRAINFART science. In fact, in my laboratory I have been able to harness a BRAINFART and convert it into mechanical energy for powering a gristmill.

Satya devi dasi said...

Seems similar to a '70s slogan: Save gas, fart in a jar.

Kshamabuddhi said...

However, we should never confuse a BRAINFART with a BLOGFART, as the BLOGFART is much more embarrassing.
If you do a Google search for "acceptible" you will get 155,000 results.

Ananda is more prone to BLOGFARTS, as we rarely ever catch him letting off a BRAINFART.

Flatulence in blogging is becoming an epidemic on the web.

Kshamabuddhi said...

My guess is that if we could be a fly on the wall in Ananda's room, we would find that in fact he is playing with a lighter trying to ignite his BLOGFARTS.

Vegman, please stop commenting in a crude and aggressive manner, it isn't helpful or devotional, it's embarrassing.

Can you explain why you post on here?

I think I know why you post on here, but I hope you will prove me wrong.

Kshamabuddhi said...

who farted?

Hari said...

Sorry, would you like to talk like an adult?

Are you supposed to be some kind of devotee? I don't believe it.

Kshamabuddhi said...

I smell a false ego. It smells much like a popcorn fart.

Hari said...

I'm not going to have a conversation with a horrid little creature like you.

I hope you don't talk to people like this in real life. You sound like a fraud.

Kshamabuddhi said...

Well excuse me Madam, I didn't know I was talking with British Royalty.
I didn't know Queen Elizabeth was following Ananda's blog.
All hail the Queen!!!!!

Make sure your crown doesn't fall and crack your majesty,

Kshamabuddhi said...

I think Ananda should start a comic art blog and combine his artistic talent with his unique world view and philosophy of living.
However, we would hope that he would not manifest any pornographic tendencies to depict his personal love life.

Is there ever a time when you talk about the topic of the blog in the comments? Are you able to?

Kshamabuddhi said...

The topic of this blog is an insult to my intelligence. What do you expect? Do you want me to pretend to be a retard and find something intelligible in all that Tao gibberish?
This Oriental Tao thinking is just a mundane, disconnected, distant and futile attempt at rational thought.
In fact, it is simply the brayings of an ass.

Mr. Ananda ∴ μ α ω λ said...

Oh really? I didn't know there was an intelligence one could insult. For you to pretend to be a retard, you'd have to crank up your IQ to around 50-60. Understanding Tao Gibberish takes an IQ of well over 100, so I guess that explains a great deal.

Kshamabuddhi said...

Ananda, how are you doing?
What's up?
Your website groupies are waiting for an update.

If you ever come back to Hairy Kirshner, I want you to be my gooroo!

Mr. Ananda ∴ μ α ω λ said...

Too busy working on all this to be able to pay much attention on this blog.

Maybe I should start selling insight services. What do you think? Nothing like a good economic impetus to get the swami steppin'.

Here's the deal: For $10, I'll write five 50-word paragraphs on any damn subject. That comes to $2 per para, or $0.04 per word. That's pretty damn cheap.

I'll even throw in a fair trade guarantee. If you don't like the blurb, just unread it, and I'll refund the money. (Proof of unreading required for full refund.)
